My stay at Hotel Motel Le Regent was quite disappointing overall. While the location was convenient, close to the highway and a short drive from the city center, the condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The clutter throughout the premises and the lack of proper service during a power outage were particularly frustrating. I can only recommend this place if you really need budget accommodations and can overlook these significant issues.

Rooms
5.0
The room was relatively clean, but the amenities felt run-down and poorly maintained. I encountered issues with the heater and there were bugs on the windows. It felt like the place hadn't seen proper repairs in years.
Service
5.0
Customer service was lacking. The male receptionist I encountered was rude and dismissive. It was upsetting to feel unwelcomed, especially after a long drive. The overall experience with the staff didn't seem to prioritize guest comfort.
Location
5.0
The location is a plus; it's very close to affordable restaurants and easy to access the main attractions of the old city. Being on the outskirts gave it a nice balance between city access and avoiding the hustle and bustle.
Dining
5.0
I didn't utilize the dining facilities much, but I noticed it was fairly uninviting and I wasn't tempted to check it out. I couldn't see anything enticing that would make me want to enjoy breakfast there.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were poorly maintained, with clutter everywhere, including in the supposed pool area. The lack of adequate lighting and cleanliness made the environment feel unwelcoming.

5.2/10

My stay at Hotel Motel Le Regent was quite frustrating overall. The room decor and cleanliness left much to be desired, with a musty smell that made it difficult to sleep. While it was conveniently located near restaurants and a short drive from downtown Quebec City, I can't overlook the issues I faced during my visit, particularly with the service and the overall condition of the premises.

Rooms
5.0
The room was oddly decorated with mirrors on the ceiling, which felt outdated, and the bed was uncomfortably hard. Although it was clean, a musty odor filled the air, forcing me to open the windows during the night.
Service
5.0
I encountered one of the most disappointing services I've experienced. The owner was rude when I sought assistance, even yelling at me once. Overall, the atmosphere felt quite unwelcoming and chaotic.
Location
5.0
The location was decent, being close to restaurants and just a short drive to downtown Quebec City, but it's situated on the outskirts, which may not appeal to everyone.
Dining
5.0
There were no breakfast options available, just coffee. The dining setup was quite minimal, which was disappointing, especially since I was expecting more variety.
Facilities
5.0
The motel's facilities, including the pool which was closed, were poorly maintained, and there was a loose handrail just outside my room which felt unsafe.

5.4/10

My stay at Hotel Motel Le Regent was a mixed bag. While the bed was comfy and the check-in was swift, I faced various issues that made the experience less pleasant, including some cleanliness concerns and an unfortunate power outage during my visit. Overall, it felt overpriced for what I received, especially considering the lack of basic amenities like breakfast.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and had some updates, but it smelled musty and was not as clean as I hoped. I also noticed broken tiles in the bathroom. The mirrors on the ceiling over the bed felt out of place, giving the room a strange vibe.
Service
5.0
The service left much to be desired. During a power outage, I found it incredibly difficult to get assistance, and the owner was rather unhelpful, which made me feel unwelcome. I was disappointed by the lack of communication from the staff, especially during an emergency situation.
Location
5.0
The hotel is situated a bit far from Old Quebec City, about a 15-minute drive, which was inconvenient for me. While there are some nearby restaurants, I would have preferred to be closer to the city center. Public transportation was challenging in the area unless you had a car.
Dining
5.0
I was disappointed that there was no breakfast service available, only coffee. While it was noted there were restaurants nearby, I didn't find ample dining options, which would have been nice.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities felt limited. The pool was closed during my stay, and the general upkeep of the grounds was lacking. It had potential, but the facilities could definitely use some improvements.

7.0/10

My stay at Hotel Motel Le Regent was quite disappointing, mainly due to the lack of cleanliness and poor service. The room had a comfortable bed, but the overall setup felt outdated and neglected. There were definitely some highlights in terms of amenities like the kitchen area, but the unpleasantness with the staff really overshadowed my experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a decent size with a kitchen area, but it was not clean. I found leftover food in the sink and a horrible humid smell in the bathroom. Also, the tiles were broken and the mattress was old, causing back pain.
Service
5.0
The service was terrible, especially when I faced issues with the power going out. The staff was unresponsive and rude when I sought help. I felt more like a prisoner than a guest, as I couldn't get proper assistance or a refund for my troubles.
Location
5.0
The location was somewhat convenient, close to the highway to get downtown. However, if you don't have a car, getting around is a hassle since you'd have to walk quite a distance to catch a bus.
Dining
5.0
Dining options nearby were limited, and while I didn’t have any specific meals at the hotel, the overall lack of cleanliness made me hesitant to try anything offered there.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities felt rundown as if they hadn’t been repaired in years. The electric heaters didn’t work, and I was left freezing instead of enjoying my stay. Plus, I faced issues with the electronic keys multiple times.

6.8/10

Overall, my stay at Hotel Motel Le Regent had its ups and downs. While I appreciated the clean room and comfortable bed, the service left much to be desired. The location was convenient for exploring Quebec City, which was a plus, but I encountered several issues during my visit that detracted from my experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was quite clean and smelled neutral, which I liked. The bed was comfortable, though I felt the overall facilities needed updating.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff were polite and bilingual, which was helpful. However, I had a frustrating experience with the electronic key not working, and I felt that the response to my concerns could have been better.
Location
8.0
I found the location to be quite convenient, just minutes away from downtown Quebec City. It was easy to access the highway to explore the area, making it a decent choice for travelers.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were advertised, though unfortunately it wasn't available during my stay. I noticed that there were nearby places to eat, which made up for it.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities included strong Wi-Fi and plenty of parking space, which I appreciated. However, I noted that the heating system in the room wasn't functional, making it quite chilly.
